Went to visit Evelyn today. She got lass cutting through her muscle fibres. She had to get an operation in NUH (which was successful).

She a great girl, being all optimistic and everything, smiling all the way, alwasys thinkung for other people.

Why does freak accidents like this happen in the world?

Thankfully, she was injured before the blackout I mentioned yesterday happened.

When I saw her in the hospital, it kind of reminded me of my mom when she too was hospitalised there. She had her tyroid gland operated. I cannot even cry for her. I was so cold then.

Or maybe I did. If I did cry for her, then it must be insignificant.

It must be guilt and the realisation of the weakness of life that made me shead three tears at the hospital.

I am her child, and yet I never cried for her.

The hospital brings back many memories.
