Today I thought I might write some nice post about life, but something miserable must come my way... so...

Two days ago, I recieved a message from a friend to go to Sentosa for a gathering. I have work on Wednesday. So, I for old times sake I've to cancel my shift on Wednesday and find someone to sub me. Well, I happen to successfully find someone to take over me, after much persuasion. But now... today... at 9.40... I recieved a message from this friend telling me that the gathering is cancelled as there is only five people going to the outing and thus it would be held next Wednesday.

How does this affect me? Well, I get to earn $24 less, I owe someone a favour and I feel like I'm lying and wasting my time.

It is not that friends fault, or anybody's fault. I am stupid to have tried my best to get Wednesday free. I am dumb not to have asked if anybody is going. I am ignorant to have not ask other people about their opinion about the trip.

Well... I will not be going to the gathering next Wednesday. For dignity's sake, it hurts me more than anyone, but an outing without me is possibly better. I'm nothing but a ugly wallpaper with bad hair anyway.
