Testerday my bro, his girlfriend and I went to The V Tea Room at Esplanade. It is a shop that sells european cakes and nice teas and this place is a must come! The ambience is nice, the tea is great and best of all the service is amazing.My brother was very impressed by the service. You see, he was dressed in T-shirt and track pants but yet the waiter treated him as a potential customer.Rarely can you find such service in Singapore. The waiter and waitresses here are very proud of their work. I, as a waiter, has much to learn from them. He even gave us a name card.
A funny incident happened there. My brother was helping me to take the menu from a stand which was situated outside the shop. Then came two Channel U actor and actress (The actor is from OK No Problem). They saw my bro and asked him when the shop is going to close! They thought my brother is a waiter! (He is, but not here.) He was like giving my brother the confused look as he thought my brother was a rude waiter when my brother sat down with us and gave him another shock. He apologized in the end. We had a good laugh after that.
You must go there and have a nice day drinking tea. Not really expensive if you don't go there every freaking day. (One pot costs at least 7.50) It calms nerves. A must try.

Leroy is coming back! Great. And Mabel's birthday is around the corner. Miss Congenuality 2 and The V Tea Room here I come!
