Sometimes Fate wants to lighten up the day for us all by cracking a joke and two. Let me list the examples of Her ingenuity yesterday.
We were at Macritchie Reservoir and since Dr Koh pan seh us (more on that later) we decided to go on the famous Macritchie tree top trail whcih was reputated to be 5 hours long. Well, I was like saying hen we were up there and then it justs bom and pours real bad that would be funny. Rebecca was like telling me to wash my mouth and sure enough it started to drizzle and then pours like Singapore has never rained before. My goodness I am accurate.
My friends and I were in Queensway shopping centre yesterday and looking at the shoe shops where suddenly the waterbottle of Alekx dropped and water spilled all over the floor. Good thing the shop manager and the assistants did not see her. When we were going out of the hsop suddenly the shop manager just shouted 'Alex!' which shocked us all as my name is Alex and her name is Alex and we thought we were caught. Thank goodness she was trying to call her assistant of the same name as us!
Then there was another incident where we were in the shopping centre for quite a considerable amount of time and it was getting boring. So what Rebecca suggests was for us to go to Tanglin Mall to shop. Suddenly out of no where this old man just shouted 'siao!' which made us all burst into laughter. The old man was having their own coversation with another old man and to think such comedy could happen!
Fate works in mysterious ways!
And Singaporeans cannot be praised. I just praised Dr Koh this Tuesday and now hes crapping it. We were supposed to meet at Macritchie Reservoir at 8.00, and when it was 8 he came ( in shorts. Oh that was a really good laugh. When he was crossing the overhead bridge it was like he was wearing the normal attire in which he always wears but when he came down OMG he was in shorts with that same shirt. Goodness.). He came to us, saying that he has good and bad news. The 'good' being that we are already here can go check out the beutiful plants in Macritchie the bad being we have to go solo because he has a red eye and its contagious. So he justs goes home leaving me the responsible class rep. to take the class for a walk. Which I did. He could have at least send us an email to tell us or something.
Well, what a day yesterday. It was mostly being drenched and being bored of looking at 4 girls shopping for accessories.
