Well, today I went for the gardening session set up by my TXP lecturer. AS I would say again he's the best, a bit eccentric, but the best. Anyways, we are supposed to prune those climbers and they are like 5 to 6 years old so they are so woody and numerous and are so unruly. We cut and cut and some of them decided to give a fight of their lives before we end their miserable lives with a cut from our cutter. Sure, we got battle wounds from the climbers sharp tendrils and woody stems but they were no match for 4 HLM students.
After which we got sone stem cuttings and little plants from Dr Koh (the TXP lecturer). I got myself the Portulaca and the Episcia. This Episcia would thereforth be known as Episcia number 2 after my first failed attempt to grow this elusive plant (okay, not so elusive) many months ago.
Now, all three of them looks dead to me. Goodness.
Anyways pests have started to visit my sacred ground of plants. They shall die as all the 8 plants (hey lucky number) are protected by the guardians Alex and his father the Exterminator of Evil Life.
After the gardening session I went to the library and got a few cool books and that is, after I remove the shit out of me. Literally) Where I was ambushed by a guy who claims he was from NP Navigators.
For those who would confuse them for Outdoor specialists like those amazing people from Outward Bound International, they are not. They are a bunch of people who have incredible faith on their Patron Spirit God and would like to have more people to believe in their All Mighty One.
I for one, was started by his first question and his subsequent questions.
"Do you believe in God?"
"What do you think of Jesus?"
"What religion are you in?"
Good thing I the a little more Enlightened One has decided to answer this a little more responsibly. As a Singaporean in a multi racial society such as Singapore, we should respect and honour other religions and races and not spread resentment amnong different ethnic groups. I for one, love Singapore and would never do such a thing.
For those who want me to answer this question, I shall say...
Yes, I believe in God. But too bad he's not my Patron Spirit. Fate is.
What I think fo Jesus? No comment. I have never seen him before but from the Bible he sounds like a great guy that deserves our ulmost respect. But too bad he's not my Patron Spirit. Fate is.
What religion am I in? The answer I gave was something like Soka. Well, the general thing is that I believe everything has a spirit, and that more faith and belief makes the spirit stronger, gives it more defination. If he ask me this question many years ago i would have said that I'm a Wiccan, and that you burn people like me on the stakes. But now that I'm some sort of Naturalist, I don't think I should say that (No Religion Conflicts!). I should just say I'm not interested.
Its not that I think I would not stand up the test of losing Fate and embracing God. In fact, I am more than happy to take up this challenge. However, there is one thing that stops me.
Mom of course. Our family's Patron Spirit is the great Goddess of Mercy Guan Yin. She has been blessing my family for many years and we are utterly faithful to her. Too bad then if you want us to break our spiritual bonds with our beloved Goddess.
So, no offence here, I love my Patron Spirit and hopethat you love yours too. Always believe in Him/Her/Neuter and never sway in your belief. May your Patron Spirit bless you.
The GL training has left the scars on me. My whole body aches and pain goes along with me wherever I go. The strain is unforgiving. Goodness I just want another training like that to come through! My body can finally be fit!
And of all bottles the GL people wants Kikapo bottles. Crazy. Nobody drinks that shit. And it looks so ugly. And they want us to be equipped with such bottles by next Wed. Go to hell (Just Kidding!)
