A boy

Once upon a time, there lived a boy.
He was, like all other boys, curious in nature.
So imagine his fascination when he came to the hospital.
It was boring, of course.
But hospitals are made to be big. Very big.
And big places are always good to explore.

And there he found a playground, filled with many colours.
But he was not satisfied, for he has pasted that age.
He saw a fence, one with stained glass and other decors on it.
He jumped over to go the other side.
And nature greeted him there.

He went on, following the path of yellow flowers, to a set of gloomy stairs, which noone has walked on for a long time.
He was fascinated, and wondered what lies on the other side.
He climbed and climbed... and found himself staring at a great dish.
A telecommunications dish!!! Wow!!!
Something else caught his eyes as he was going higher and higher.
Lalang!!! Lalangs swaying by the wind, relaxed and carefree...

And then he saw it.
'King Edward VII Hall'
'It must be the NUS campus!!! I must go there!' He said.
There were great trees there, where he communicated with.
There were also periwinckle that were living in unhealthy soil.
The place was built on a slope.
There were communal kitchen (known as the kitchenette), a laundrette, and other nettes for the hostel people to use.
It was a place where people stayed.
They leave their shoes on the outside, maybe not to dirty the insides.
There were no lifts, this place is old.
Hot too.
The tennis courts were in a mess.
The fence does not stop it from being reclaimed by nature.
People were making floats (floats are those things that you see in Chin Gay)
It was getting late, he was so busy exploring, he forgottened the time.
He went back, to see another staircase, overgrown with weeds.
'Where does it lead?' he asked.
He couldn't resist, and walked on the path.
To find a carefully hidden squash court.

Back at the hospital, he was to take the lift.
And there he saw a button he wanted to press.
It was to the basement.
Where the morgue is.
And he couldn't resist.
He pressed the button, and down he went.
The door opened, and stale air came to his nose.
The place was empty, with no sound except his own echoes.
It was spooky, he dare not continue.
And back he went.
