Tried

Deathnote is great. Must watch.

To get myself away from sadness, I'm going to do something I do best, other than writing speeches and mails.
I'm going to write a story.

Leon scnned the whole campus from the open air carpark on the 3th floor. He loved to watch people from high places. Makes it clear to him what he is meant to be, what he wants to do.
Today, the haze was not kind. Things looked... fairytalish. Like a bad dream. Doesn't help to have a bad nose.
"Notes, I have to buy notes." He kept repeating in his mind. Once again, he has convienently forgottened to bring his organiser.
"Damn. Should have made a spirit one."
Around the corner of his mind lies a bright, shiny corner housing his brother, Noel. Theoretically, this body is his. However, the haze brought out the worst of people, and in this case, its Leon.
"Ha, dumb shits praying for rain. Go burn yourself." Leon cursed. He hated people who burn trees. He doesn't know why. He approves of burning of humans and animals and books and other useless things, but not trees.
Perhaps this is the only thing both of them agreed about: No burning of trees.
He felt funny. Something was missing. He could not remember and was too proud to ask Noel.
"Oh yes. I've to return to the Rally Club. Have to send email. Waste of time. Damn."
"Give both of us a chance, will ya? Remember the fun times we used to have? The cheers we cheered, the songs we sang?"
"The crap I received. Ya. I know."
"Look at the time! Its time to go. And the haze is getting thicker by the minute! I don't want our body to get asthma you know."
"Wuss." Leon sneered as he walked towards the Chemist block. He was ruthless, cruel and sadistic, but he loved his brother. He would do anything for him. In this case, tolerating being back at a Club where noone even liked him.
He can see it. He can sense their auras, their hostility. Somehow Noel was sissy, and Leon couldn't do anything about it. Maybe its the autism and the sissy. Leon doesn't know, and doesn't care, he couldn't give a damn. Somehow he feels that maybe Noel likes being tortured. maybe he's sadistic as well.
Another similarity.

The movie deathbook was great. Imagine, killing someone by writing his name on it. And the fun part is you can manipulate the way he is going to die.
Leon can think of so many names.
But alas, he must stay impartial. The many curses he has cast when he is young has taken its toll on their body. Yes, their body. The spell doesn't see which soul who cast the spell, it just see the body who did it. And man, does the body suffer. Around 32 different curses and their backlashes are upon them, including migranes, fickle blindness, partial deafness, tone deaf, and some memories.
"Those were worth it." Leon said. "And some of my lifespan for that book."

"Is that so, young one? Do you really want to trade your lifespan, say, 20 years, for that book you want?."
Leon turned. It sounded like a woman. A stereotypical whinny witchy sound. Annoying. The movie was over, and the movie junkies where rushing out, snorting and chatting like gorillas quarrelling over pee spaces. It was very noisy, but he could hear the voice very clearly.
It was telepathy.
"Who are you bitch. Get the fuck out of my brain."
"Your brain? It doesn't look like you are the only resident there, young one. And mind your manners. I can see you, but you cannot see me. I'm at the adavantage, you are not."
"Is that so?"
Leon smirked. These rats doesn't know what Leon is capable of. She can read his mind yes, but she cannot get his secrets. Noel was there, and he trust him with his secrets, which they both share. The bitch must have found this fact interesting.
Leon drew a glyph in the air and recited an incantation. He was not afraid of the witch evaesdropping: Noel was blocking the telepathic hack already.
Suddenly, a shrillish scream was heard behind them. A woman in her 2os suddenly collapsed, gasping for air but her lungs caught none. The crowd rushed around her, doing what normal, irresponsible people would do: stand, watch and comment.
The spell was a simple one. It cuts the air supply of the person that is hacking (cursing, or forcing his way into your mind) you until someone touches them. Unfortunately for the sorceress, this is Singapore, and here, if you drop and gasp like hell, noone is going to touch you. Or help you.
No voluntary body contact, no air. No air, die bitch.
Leon doesn't need to look at his victim, Noel can scry that with the Pool later. He doesn't know the extent of the witches probe has done, and thus it better for him to avoid eye contact with her, just in case she has some tricks up her sleeve.
Migrane hit him. It was predictable: every offensive spell has its cost. At least when they are still being Matronised by the same spirit. He has a high threshold for pain, but somehow each migrane that followed somehow pierce through his threshold. He staggered for awhile.
"Are you all right?"
"Ya"
"Can you spam (Cast alots of magic)?"
"Possibly"
"Good. Cause the sorceress is not alone. And she has recovered."
