First Blood

Its really damn sad when you bleed riding on your skate scooter but not when you are using the more foreign feeling in-line skates.

When I'm about to ram a person, or a person is going to ram into me, I've 2 options: Make the person hurt as much as possible, or let me take most of the damage. I normally choose option 2. Why? I'll save the trouble of a confrontation. Peace (even if I'm battered and bleeding) is always good.

I realised I'm always thinking, which often means many juicy things to write in the blog. But as you can see from my previous entries, I'm not really writing anything fancyful. The reason being:

I'm busy with other games. Like one that got me destroying blocks of similar colours.
I'm busy with school thingys.
I'm not excited enough to write about what interesting things that happened that day, and thus my bland post.
I'm tired after a days exercise.

So there.

I've been going to East Coast for quite awhile, and when I'm there I tend to do alot of thinking. I've yet to encounter any life changing revelations. Maybe more thinking will help.

Seeing a bunch of people skate is very theraputic, even if you can't skate yourself.

When you look like a young kid skate, you realised how old you have become, how long a way you have gone since you started walking instead of crawling clumsily. Then you'll realise that we did not instinctively know how to walk on 2 legs: We were trained to. So is skating. If you can balance on 2 legs, you can balance on skates. If you can balance on skates, you can balance on stilts. If you can balance on stilts, you can balance on a thin wire 30 feet above ground.

And if you can do that, you can do anything.

When you see a man in his late thirties/forties skating for the first time, you know you've seen an inspiring sight. Falling, getting up, never giving up... all these are very inspiring. When you lose direction over your life, perhaps the best thing to do is to take a breather and look at other things that you'll normally never look at.

I've realised to a small extent that doing things with 100% effort creates much more oppotunity compared to 'precise work'. You'll never know whether a benefector is near you or not. Thus, showing your best side constantly is always a good way for Fate to grant you more good things in life.

Well, getting late. Will be back, if Fate allows.
