SP Open was very painful for me, for the simple reason that the first person I fought with was 2 dan, the 2nd was the captain, and the third and fourth are also captains of their team. I, being of the first table, was quite unlikely to face their strongest player, cause the new trend nowadays was to put their best player at the 2nd seat. But some of the teams still prefer the old ways and put their best player at the 1st seat.

My score was 4 loss, and 2 win. 1 match I let Mervin played.

I feel like I'm so weak, losing like a cat in a environment of tigers. But as I've realised later today, even tigers have been cats before. So one day, I'll grow and be strong.

I'm still lost in the boundless world of Weiqi.

I've just seen a new show called Solitary, and its a really, really good reality show. Its a show about putting people in complete isolation, in a cubicle like place, and subject them to different tortures, like loud sirens, deprivation of food, pain, etc. But the 'host', supposedly an AI called Val, is not sick or anything, just playful and sarcastic at times and can be encouraging when it wants to.
Its a good show, not because it is sick and everything, but because its a social experiment kind of thing. Everyone did the experiment (Solitary is part reality show, part social experiment) cause the final person who can endure the whole experiment process can get $50,000. And you can really see the dark and light side of the human psyche. Its really that revealing. And the questions Val asked are simple yet probing. Really. You will know human's limits in this show.
