I can finally jump the high beam after much encouragement from my friends and Lt Kenneth and Lt Loy and the sergeants, who must got really pissed off with me squatting up there for the first 45 mins. I really feel like a Bant knight up there, with everyone giving me support, my Exalted rating increase and increase till I really jumped off. Not fall off or slide off or roll off or pull off: jump off. The feeling off jumping... now I've a different feeling of falling, compared to the feeling which have been branded upon me when I feared. Its a feeling of exuberance that is hard to explain. its like you've just been at the top of the world. Perhaps this means I can finally conquer my fear of heights.

We had the 5.3 km 2PDF Cross Country run and I ran 19th place. I feel sad because perhaps I can do better? However, I got a medal for the team category, my team (which has OC and Lt Heng inside) won the 1st runner up. I'm happy about that cause its my first running medal. Maybe there's more on the way? LOL.

Perhaps its impossible. I'm running faster than normal people not because I've the long legs or I've better lungs or whatever. I'm literally willing myself to move. The problem with depending on willpower is that you may wake up one day and say, 'hey, I'll run no more.'. Now my legs have periods of sharp pain. Is this a case of the swan trying to fly like a swallow? However it is proven that once the lizard stayed with the dragons he'll eventually become one. Maybe I'll spread my wings and breathe fire one day?
